Stokes County native and award-winning Christian entertainer Taylor Vaden took the stage at the Randy Travis Music Festival in Marshville, North Carolina, on September 21. Before his performance, Vaden had the chance to meet country music legend Randy Travis, who he credited as a major influence on his career. Vaden described the moment as a dream come true, saying Travis has been an inspiration for his country and gospel music.

Vaden, always a local favorite, has several performances scheduled in October, including KingFest on October 5 and StoCo on October 11.
