The price of gas has gone up once again. In North Carolina, the average price for a gallon of regular gas has increased by 14 cents over the course of a week. Normally, gas prices tend to go down in the fall as summer travel slows. It is unfortunately not the case this year. This is due to the recent development in the international arena where global oil producers have decided to cut oil production.
Last Friday, North Carolina’s average was $3.46, compared to the national average of $3.89. The highest price in the state was recorded in June when the number reached $4.67.
