Bryce Young Continues to Dominate

The Panthers broke even on the season with their 34-3 blowout victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Bryce Young continues to improve nearly every week. On Sunday, he completed 23 of 36 passes for 287 yards and 3 touchdowns. Through two weeks, he and Las Vegas Raiders QB Kirk Cousins are the only two quarterbacks in the NFL to throw for three or more touchdown passes in each of the first two weeks of the season. Wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan also had a strong performance, eclipsing the century mark with 101 receiving yards on five catches and ten targets. Fellow WR Jalen Coker continued to establish himself as one of the league’s most underrated weapons with a solid 8 catch, 66 yard performance.

On the defensive side of the ball, new linebacker Devin Lloyd dominated with 9 tackles, 1 sack, 3 passes defended, and 2 interceptions—including a pick six. The performance from the entire Panthers defense gives the team some much-needed momentum after a disastrous showing in Week 1 vs. the Bears. Looking ahead to Week 3, the Panthers travel to Cleveland to face the 1-1 Browns, who are fresh off a road win in Tampa Bay last week. We’ll see you in Cleveland.

Keep Pounding.
