As fall sweeps through the Fayetteville area, families and thrill-seekers alike can enjoy a wide array of seasonal activities. Gillis Hill Road Produce, Nazro Farms, and Hubbs Farm are hosting some of the area’s favorite fall attractions, including corn mazes, pumpkin patches, hayrides, and more. Each location offers family-friendly fun on weekends throughout October, with affordable admission and plenty of photo opportunities. For a more extended fall adventure, Galloway Farm in Hallsboro and Gross Farms in Sanford boast activities such as tractor-pulled wagon rides, farm animals, and even moonlit hayrides.

For those seeking a more thrilling experience, Cumberland County has plenty of haunted attractions on offer. The Aberdeen Fear Factory, one of the largest indoor haunted houses in North Carolina, promises heart-pounding scares every weekend through early November. Backwoods Terror Ranch and the Stoney Point Trail of Terror also invite brave souls to test their nerves with terrifying haunted trails and mazes. Families looking for lighter Halloween fun can enjoy the Halloween Vendor Crawl Market, complete with food trucks and a kids’ zone, or Fayetteville’s annual Zombie Walk, where attendees are encouraged to dress up and join the spooky festivities downtown.
